A new test version of MEPISLite has been released.
From the release anouncement:
Final Test Release of MEPISLite 3.3.1-2

Morgantown, WV, August 18, 2005: MEPISLite 3.3.1-2.test03 is available in the testing subdirectory at the MEPIS Subscriber's Site and public mirrors. For up to 30 days, please send feedback to email@example.com
This is expected to be the final test release of MEPISLite 3.3.1-2. A bug in the “copy Desktop” function of the MEPIS OS Center has been fixed and the Desktop OnTheGo application has been polished and is now considered to be “1.0″ ready.
To recap the changes in 3.3.1-2, now MEPISLite is pinned to the Debian “testing” pool and was last synchronized on August 1, 2005, the MEPIS packages have been updated to the latest versions, and MEPISLite bundles the basic Desktop OnTheGo application–not including AES encryption.
MEPISLite offers the 2.4.29 and 2.6.10 kernels because they seem to work better with older hardware. There are no plans to upgrade to a newer 2.6 kernel at this time.
MEPISLite is an entry level version of desktop MEPIS designed for home users. It has been used successfully with as little as a 2 GB hard drive and a Pentium 2 processor with 128MB of RAM. MEPISLite preinstalls a full complement of software including KOffice, Kontact, and Firefox.
Due to contractual obligations regarding MEPISLite, the final version will not be available for public download. Not-for-profit and other projects wishing to use MEPISLite may contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Soon Technalign will begin to ship a boxed final version of MEPISLite for retailers and resellers. It will be called TaFusion MEPIS Lite OnTheGo. This should not be confused with the original TAFUSION MEPIS ON THE GO which featured the OnTheGo proof-of-concept application, Traveller Disc.
