Debian-news is about one simple thing - news about Debian GNU/Linux and the top free distributions based on Debian GNU/Linux.

9 stars Breezy Badger

“In a world that rates life by the number of stars, UBUNTU deserves 9 stars on a scale of 10. ” That's how concludes this Breezy review.
Enjoy it here.

And they comment Sarge too:

While the beta had a few rough edges, the Preview Release has been polished and is now nearing finished form. The one negative is the lack of a root password. Using the “sudo passwd root” solution discussed in other Geektime articles on UBUNTU, this can be overcome in seconds.

Having just spent considerable time with Debian Sarge, I must admit I like the appearance of UBUNTU much better. There are better fonts and the overall appearance is just a lot more eye appealing. Yes, I know I have just insulted many of the purists, but I am expressing my opinion.
