Debian based GNU/Solaris, anyone?

On the Ubuntu maillists, Alex Ross has announced Nexenta OS – a distribution that tries to combine the best from Debian GNU/Linux and Solaris.

We'll open Nexenta web developer portal completely for the general public by
mid-November. Today we are launching a Pilot Program. Ubuntu developers and the
