Updating Ubuntu for Current Versions of OpenOffice and FireFox

Tadelste at LXer.com has been adjusting his Ubuntu desktop a bit and updated Ubuntu for Current Versions of OpenOffice and FireFox.

I generally say if it ain't broke don't fix it. But in this case, I'd prefer Ubuntu to put these two applications in their update manager and be done with it.
