Gems are hidden in the Wiki's. If you want to suggest anoyne to switch from Windows to Ubuntu, you'll find a nice guide to do it in the Ubuntu Wiki.
You can see it as SwitchingFromWindows!

So you've switched from Windows to Ubuntu, or are considering doing just that? This document is intended to inform you of the differences between the two, and to suggest a few tips to making your migration as painless as possible.

Ubuntu and Windows are very different. Some things Windows can do, we can't, and vice versa. To feel comfortable using Ubuntu, it's best to get a feel for the good and the bad, and the way things work. Some things might require you to change the way you work slightly, but you'll get used to it. I know I did.

Please note that it is still work in progress.
