Cold Turkey Ubuntu

Five hours ago, after months of deliberation, this user finally gave his overly analytical mind the middle-finger and just decided to install Ubuntu. Complete cold turkey from Windows

Once the updates were completed, I rebooted as requested and just sort of sat in awe, not really sure what to do next. Maybe I’ll cover some of the things I’ve done since ina future entry. The purpose of this was just to describe the installation process, and to sum up, it’s: simple, painless and easy. Without a doubt, less of a chore than Windows and I’m pretty confident my Mother could install this successfully.

Whether or not I’ll be able to stick with Ubuntu in the long run, though? Remains to be seen. Updates will no doubt follow.
