Getting closer with Etch

Wolfgang Lonien have been experimenting a bit with Etch, ahd have written about his experiences so far.

Being able to use Evolution instead of Outlook is like the last hurdle; everything else can be done within remote desktop windows already. Plus it is much safer as a groupware client than its proprietary brother with it’s Active-X problems.

Looks like we – at least I – don’t need Windows at work anymore, even if you have to run things like an Exchange server. Which is a good thing – bravo, dear Debian Developers!
