Hello and Goodbye at Canonical

Jeff Waugh leaves Canonical to work for Gnome and Canonical is also looking for a security engineer.
Jeff says goodbye here

Quote:

I’m excited about Ubuntu, passionate about its mission, confident in its future, and have thoroughly enjoyed being part of it from the very beginning… But ultimately, my heart lies with another, and I have to take that chance, face that risk, while my family commitments and responsibilities allow it.

And Matt Zimmerman hopes to say Hello:

Quote:

I'd like to call your attention to the following job posting on the Ubuntu
website:

Canonical is searching for a highly qualified security engineer to track and
repair security vulnerabilities in Ubuntu. If you know someone who would be
a good fit for the position, please encourage them to apply.

Thanks,
