Warren has announced an rc1 release of 3 Extras CDs for SimplyMEPIS 6.0. The Extras CDs will be offered as a convenience for MEPIS users who can't rely on having a continuous fast internet connection for accessing the online pools. The CDs are meant to contain packages that MEPIS users are most likely to want to add to their MEPIS installation. This rc1 release gives the MEPIS community an opportunity to try the Extras CDs and offer their suggestions for changes before the final release next week.
