DSL to offer FREE market place for merchants

In an attempt to passively earn funding for the Damn Small Linux project, the developers of DSL are offering free storefronts to merchants. Having a store front on is an opportunity for retailers to increase visibility and sales without risk.

Sounds good, but what does DSL get out of it?

We will be placing two advertisements into the store templates — one contextual advertisement and one impression based advertisement. The ads will help us fund the development of Damn Small Linux while we continue to refine the project.
