Ubuntu on the T60

Matthew Ryan Tierney writes about his work to get the T60 working like he wants it.

Quote:

When I got my T60, the first thing I had to was get Ubuntu working in full functionality. Here are the instructions that I followed from the Malta website (http://www.linux.org.mt/node/82). The only problem I have right now with these instructions is that I have a screen resolution problem when running XGL and Beryl. Even though the computer thinks that it’s running with 1400×1050, it really falls closer to a 1280×1024.
