Compiling your own kernel under debian

The following is a guide to compiling your own kernel. I have only just completed this task around half an hour a go, bare in mind this is the first time I have done such a thing, so excuse me I carry out tasks that are not needed.

At the end of this guide you will be left with two debian package that can be installed the usual way. One package will be the actual kernel and the second will be the kernel headers.
