SimplyMEPIS 6.0-4 Beta 4

Warren Woodford has announced the fourth beta release of SimplyMEPIS 6.0-4, now with an option to install the distribution on a USB key.
From the announcement

Warren Woodford of MEPIS reports “A big change is in the kernel. Updating to 2.6.17-20 is a lot more difficult than it sounds. MEPIS is meant for everybody, not just the Linux users on the bleeding edge. The fact is, kernels after 2.6.16 have introduced many changes that are good for some, but that break the system for others. We've stuck with 2.6.15 because it's stable and works with the packages already in the MEPIS and Dapper package pools.”
