Adding a second hard drive to Etch

Since I needed a hard drive and the price is pretty much unbeatable, I bought it. I installed it in my Apple PowerMac G3 running Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 (etch).

Begin by physically putting the drive into the case and connecting the cables. Be sure that the existing hard drive is set to master and the drive you’re adding is set to slave. Unplug everything before you start, read the instruction manual, follow its directions, and be sure to use an anti-static wrist strap.
