This release of MEPIS 6.5 is a great piece of work, although I was disappointed that it nixed Windows XP (though I can probably still fix that) and unless I specify my monitor resolution before booting the live CD it was a slight hassle to go about getting my resolution right. I’m sure that if I had chose it to begin with that bit of trouble would’ve never happened, but I didn’t want to re-install just to set the display resolution. The test I got with RC 1 was really only the beginning and I’m glad I came back to try the final release out again but with a full install. The MEPIS team has done a really good job once again.
