I have also created a few scripts to help automate the remastering process: one to set up the remastering directories and copy the required files (Listing 1), one to remove packages (Listing 2), and a third to create the compressed Knoppix file system and ISO image (Listing 3). In order to get a better understanding of the remastering process, I recommend manually running through the process before using the scripts.
