Adventures with XP and Ubuntu

About a month ago I got a new laptop at work. A nice one (or at least, nicer than my old one) — a Lenovo ThinkPad T60p. I installed PartitionMagic 8.0, shrank the XP partition down to 65GB and carved out 35GB to install Ubuntu.
