Extended warranty options for Dell Ubuntu systems to be restored

We recently reported on the lack of extended warranty options on Ubuntu systems from Dell. It seems that a software update is responsible for removing the options and this is simply a glitch in the system.

That may be PR rhetoric as in it removed the warranty but the community outcrying has them restoring it but I’ll give them the benefit of doubt and believe the story that this was simply an honest mistake that will be rectified very soon.
