Ubuntu Selects Confed-ITA to Spread Wings in TN

With Linux gaining ground across the globe, a significant development is happening at the Confederation of Information Technology Association (Confed-ITA) in Tamil Nadu.

This is the first time Canonical is doing a training program for OEM partners across the world. Maria (worldwide OEM business head), Billy (worldwide training head), and Mathew (head of Indian operations) were the 3 representatives from the Linux distribution who oversaw the training. About 10 channel partners underwent the 2-day Ubuntu Linux training program held at Coimbatore on July 2 and 3, 2007. The NIIT faculty from Delhi conducted the training sessions.
