Vehicle-mount computer runs Debian Etch

AML has announced a sealed, metal computer intended for mounting in industrial vehicles. The MT7550 clocks its AMD Geode GX533 processor at 400 MHz, includes both Bluetooth and 802.11b/g wireless capabilities, and comes standard with Debian Linux 4.0 (“Etch”).

The company says the MT7550 is intended for mounting on vehicles such as forklifts, and use in applications such as real-time, harsh-environment receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping.
