Mepis 6.5 installed easy enough. It took about half an hour and considering it includes a complete office suite its excellent. All my hardware was detected and works with out any effort on my part. Using Synaptic the update process is as simple as can be. Id have to rate Mepis as a DOES NOT SUCK!Summing up, every situation is different and your results will differ. My hope is this little review will show that installing a modern Linux distribution like Mepis is not the formidable task you might have been led to believe.
