Debian-news is about one simple thing - news about Debian GNU/Linux and the top free distributions based on Debian GNU/Linux.

Ubuntu 7.04 and Compiz Fusion on an Acer 3680 Laptop – A Review

1.5 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, Intel Corp. Mobile 945GM/GMS/940GML Express Video Card. Dual boots with Ubuntu and Windows Vista.
The odd thing is that the review is found at Howtoforge

Ubuntu detected all the hardware but the Atheros AR5BXB63 wireless card. Installing the Windows driver with NDIS Wrapper didn't seem to work, so I just pop in an Orinoco Silver and wireless works fine.
