Liberation fonts: still "non-distributable" for Debian!

So, what is it all about?

It's all about the fact that a FONT has a very confusing status when comes with questions like: (1) is a font “software”? is it a “program”? (2) if so, what do you mean by aggregating a font, and what is more than an aggregation? (3) furthermore, what is actually its “source code”?
