Installing Ubuntu(s) on a Windows 98-era Laptop
Keeping EOL'ed products like Win2000 or … gulp … WinME is also a really bad idea. I set about finding something for him. He volunteered that he was open to Ubuntu, which I had installed on some mutual friends' computers.
