AntiX 7.5 is Now Available
Built using the MEPIS Linux 7.0 core including the MEPIS 2.6.22 kernel and utilities, along with selected additions from Debian Lenny, this lightweight OS is especially appropriate for older hardware and users who like a very fast and highly configurable system.
From the announcement
Quote:
New features based on community contributions are led by the antiX Control Centre, which provides a single handy place for managing desktop, system, network, and hardware. Also the well-tested smxi script permits the user to maintain a rolling upgrade of kernels and drivers, with a choice of kernel versions that covers default, Debian Unstable and sidux. Strong community support comes from a revised set of FAQs, the MEPIS Wiki and User's Manual, and the antiX and MepisLovers forums.
