Moving from Ubuntu to Debian

With the recent changes and events around Ubuntu, I have decided to start using Debian for my personal desktop and server OS. I thought I would detail the reasons behind my decision and my experience while making the switch.

    I read a couple of your articles and saw this one here:

    Wouldn’t it actually be easier to execute this as root:
    adduser “username” sudo

    I’m not a linux pro so I’m not really sure, it’s just the easiest way I currently know.
